Robert S. Murphy III
I have been passionate about criminal law ever since I took my first criminal law course in law school. OUI defense in particular allows me to be in court every day fighting for the rights of our clients, and litigating complex, challenging cases. Each OUI case is unique, and I enjoy analyzing cases from all angles in order to effectively represent every person who walks through our door. Obtaining positive outcomes for our clients is the most rewarding part of the job, and I take pride in giving our clients the absolute best representation possible.
It is a pleasure to work for Bernard Defense Team. Attorney Bernard is at the forefront of OUI law, providing a cutting-edge approach to the way OUI cases are handled. I enjoy being a part of his hardworking, dedicated team seeking to successfully guide our clients through what can often be one of the more stressful events of their lives.
I served as a law clerk to the Honorable Peter W. Agnes, Jr. of the Massachusetts Appeals Court upon graduating from law school. I then worked as an assistant district attorney in both Hampden and Middlesex Counties for over three and a half years until joining the Law Offices of Joseph D. Bernard. While in law school, I interned for the Honorable Robert J. Cordy at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, as well as at the Massachusetts Land Court, the United States Attorney’s Office, and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
I earned my B.A. in Political Science from Stonehill College. I then graduated Summa Cum Laude from New England Law | Boston.
